Students are required to successfully complete 9 courses (three courses per semester), during the first three semesters of the program. In the fourth and final semester of their studies, they work on their MA thesis under the guidance of their thesis supervisor. At the end of the fourth semester, the thesis is submitted for evaluation to a three-member committee (including the supervisor). An oral defense of the thesis is required and constitutes part of the final thesis evaluation.
Upon the successful completion of the program, students acquire a Master’s degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology.
